The one thing that attracted me years ago to the word was the Love of God shown by Jesus Christ, and in

Romans 2:4 second half its the goodness of God that leadeth thee to repentance[ a change of mind leading to a change

of heart]. According to 1 Timothy 2:2 Gods will is to have all men saved to be saved and to come to the knowledge of

the truth. In John 3:16 which is familiar to most if not all of us, God so loved the world that he gave[it was his will to

save his creation includes all men] his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have

everlasting life. 17 he that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already.

The reason is stated next because they loved there own deeds or works which were wrong being blinded by Pride

greed lust literally loved themselves at the expense many times of others lives that's evil. So don't tell me I'm

doing anything wrong I've got everything I want so why should I change. They loved there deeds and are blinded by

why are these pastors proclaiming God is searching for a modern day gideon i dont think God would ask for a soldier from 3000 years ago to come back to life after Jesus gave the sacrifice on the cross. tho we are in idoltry of lust most of the time, i can't help but feel like people are prostituting themselves and committing adultery in order to obtain power and induce fear through paid murder. i don't think we are meant to be run by this and i think my pastors are preaching blasphemy, as i can read their mindds saying look if you want or you're an embarassment, or im interested, tho i am not selling my body. i do admire the phoenix. can you shed some light?

Yes, there was a city called No. As you read in Ezekiel chapter 30, the Lord's Face was set against Egypt, destruction coming to them by the hand of Babylon's King Nebuchadnezzar ( Ezekiel 30:10). So the cities mentioned in that chapter, viz, Noph, Pathros, Zoan, Sin, & No, were all Egyptian cities.

The city of No cannot be correctly identified. Some have placed it on the right tributary of the River Nile , others have said that the city of Thebes (about 400 miles south of Cairo & Memphis) was the former city of No, or at least, another name for it. Anyway, this gives you a general understanding about this city & of Ezekiel chapter 30.

Hi Rita. The best verse that meets your requirement is 1 Corinthians 6:9,10. There are other verses that speak about drunkenness & homosexuality, but I think the verse I've given covers both.
