    Brother david, i fully agree.

philippians 2:13 for it is god that worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.

you (sinful flesh died, on the cross, you no longer exist. the life (i am the way, truth, life) now in you is christ.

no greater love has a man than to give his life for his brother. have you died to christ (the word of god, this is the first death) (first resurrection).

I'm an evangelist. I say what the Holy Spirit shows me. I may not know dates, years, days; I just say what I see.

I do study what the Holy Spirit wants me to see. He highlights scripture. Things I have read hundreds of times. Then He will show a different meaning just by placement of commas. I have a new comment on Genesis 1 and 2, I had never noticed before. I'm praying over this right now.

Don't allow opposing comments stop you. GOD will confirm His Word. I always go look at the Commentaries on Google. (Well known Christian commentators). I take it all in and do a lot of prayer and fasting over it, as in wait on the Holy Spirit. Whatever Rhema He wants to show is what I say.

Mostly because I want to hear what the Lord is saying.

I like to sit in here and see what others are thinking, asking and saying. Iron sharpens iron. It smooths off the rough edges (flesh). Jewish teachers and students do the same thing. It's all good. Don't get riled when someone disagrees. The Holy Spirit will bring Jesus's Light into the conversation.

We're living in a time of false teachers, and falling away, so let us all pray for the Holy Spirit to impart 'discerning of spirits' to us. May we receive it. 1 Corinthians 12

The only suggestion I can make is if we could press the "View Thread" box to see if everyone has at least received a reply?

Gotta go feast. My flesh just served notice it's calling the police.

Sister Cassidy, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

I don't know if you know THE ANGEL (messenger) OF THE LORD (Father) in the old testament WAS and IS CHRIST.

Romans 8:29 ... the image of Christ (angel of the Lord)....firstborn among MANY BRETHREN .....

It takes the Spirit CAUSING you to put verses TOGETHER to come to TRUTH.

How do you renew your mind?
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
hi Earl Brother you just proved my point, if we are led by the Holy Spirit of God then on any given subject matter in Gods Word its not going to mean 12 different things in understanding. According to philippians we are to be of the same mind. The mind of Christ or spiritual mind isn't going to have 20 different meanings to one area that's confusion.

    Brother David:

    2 Peter 1:20

This scripture means that no one scripture has ALL TRUTH in that scripture; but must be held in light of all other scriptures to come TO TRUTH.

All scriptures have to AGREE, otherwise you are misapplying the TRUTH of the scriptures.

Only the Spirit can led you to TRUTH.

Ask and it shall be GIVEN, in Spirit's appointed time.

Hello again my brother in Christ

Appreciate your kind comments on my last post.

To begin, my comment concerning the number of resurrections from death by Christ must have not been clear to you. I know of only 3 recorded resurrections performed by Christ: Lazarus, John 11:1-44; the widow's son, Luke 7:11-17; and Jairus's daughter, Luke 8:40-56 I then expressed my opinion there were most likely more that were not recorded. I see Christ as a compassionate savior, and personally, believe more miracles were performed than are recorded in today's Bible.

My conviction the story of Lazarus the beggar is a parable is based on the Hebrew meaning of the name Lazarus meaning "God has helped". Christ was speaking to an audience of disciples originally and some Pharisees later joined the group, verse 14, and began to deride Christ. Christ then speaks to the Pharisees as to their violations of the Law and the parable of Lazarus.

The parable of Lazarus serves a twofold purpose. First it serves to emphasize the responsibility of those more fortunate to aid the less fortunate. Second, it foretales the rejection of Christ by the Jews, even after the resurrection. The first purpose most likely fell on deaf ears as the Pharisees because of their self-righteousness. The second was not realized and accepted by even the remaining 11 disciples initially.

Reference to the place of the spirit after death until the gathering of the church by Christ is referenced after the resurrection by Paul, in many places in scripture. Paul refers to the "holding place: as sleep.

Now, where did the souls John sees in Revelation come from and at what point did they arrive in heaven. Revelation 3:10 is easily interperted as the rapture before tribulation. Revelation 7:9-17 surely is post-rapture by content.

My point - the spirit of the vast majority of Christians do not enter heaven prior to the rapture. Enoch, perhaps. Elijiah definitely ( 2 Kings 2:11).

Thank you, my brother in Christ

We are never to worship angels. They are the servants of the Lord

Lucifer (now named Satan). He coveted Gods throne and the worship from the angels of heaven. Michael, the archangel threw Satan to earth as God ordered. There are scriptures to prove this. Just learn to use the search engine on this website. Search the names.

Gabriel is Gods messenger archangel. He had conversations with Virgin Mary, Daniel, and the one you found. He stands before Gods throne ready to convey Gods messages.

Ephesians 6, speaks of principalities and powers, that are Satan's servants. It's their work to persecute Gods children by preventing them to receive the salvation of Jesus.

In the book of Revelation, there will be a final battle for earth and to finally have Satan and his servants locked up.

This is why we preach and teach on this website. To answer questions and to get people ready to go with Jesus. Matthew 24 and Luke 21, tells us that time is very short now.

By giving his life for us 'humans' on the Cross, Jesus secured our freedom from sin and Death. He wants us to live with Him forever. Everyone has to make a choice. Book of Romans. John the beloved wrote the book of Revelation, while incarcerated on the island of Patmos. He saw what was to happen, in visions from God. Daniel saw them also. The end was spoken of in

2 Peter 3. Not water as with Noah; but with fire.

That's why there is an urgency to preach and get those who desire to follow God, ready to go.

The Book of John 3, will help you be born again.

We will be changed one day into eternal bodies like Jesus. God is going to renew the earth to His original intent. Beautiful without pollution, scars man made on it; animals restored that were made extinct by humans. We will wait in heaven when that occurs.

I hope this helps you to choose to follow Jesus.

Pray in your own words. Your name will be in the Book of Life ( Revelation 22).

Hello All . Concerning the thief on the cross next to Jesus . Please read Proverbs Ch 6 V 30 . Also , we don't even know if this person was a Jew or not so we don't know if the Mosaic Law applied to them . Even if he was a Jew I challenge any one to find in the Law where it says a thief is to be put to death . Do any of you believe that stealing is a capitol offence ? As a Christian we shouldn't ever accuse any one of stealing . If some one takes our things from us we must tell them that we give them freely . My friend who is not a Christian was mugged , there wasn't any violence used but the mugger said he would use violence if their wallet wasn't handed over . My friend the atheist gave them their wallet and said to the mugger " all you had to do was ask and I would have just given you it " . This thief not only confesses his own offence but recognises Jesus's innocence . A very perceptive person . I'm sure we have all read Ezekiel Ch 33 . Christ is the fulfillment of the law , he is the Lord of Grace and Love and Forgiveness . If he forgives the thief who are we to argue ?

Amen Brother Alex, you are right, ALL (in the fullness of time)( Ephesians 1:10) are going to be MADE ONE, exact duplications of CHRIST (the SEED).

Ephesians 4:4 ....ONE BODY (Christ), ONE SPIRIT (God the Father) ....

1 Timothy 6:16...Who (Christ) ONLY hath IMMORTALITY, dwelling in the light....

1 Corinthians 15:53 ....this mortal must PUT ON (CHRIST) immortality.

1 Corinthians 15:54 .... DEATH is swallowed up in victory (LIFE) (THE WORD)...

1 Corinthians 3:22-23 ....all(BODY and SPIRIT) is yours, ye are Christ's (the body), Christ is God's (the Spirit).

Thank you BROTHER DAN ,CASSIDY ,MISHAEL and CHRISE, i am currently in shock and awe as i have never really expected to hear from anyone.as i tremble to type while wiping the salty discharge from my eyes I thank you ALL from what seems to be left of my heart . Three words in my vocabulary i have struggled with for months know r bitterness, humbleness, and humility.

The amount of prayer for decernment and strength over these words makes me feel at times ,well most times obsessed and sometimes very uncomfortable if that makes any sense , at times I'm an anointed by some readings or some conversation . And it is so so glorious and comforting, however it's very short-lived and yet to always see myself falling backwards into some of the same old thought processes . I am a construction worker so please bare with me as i am no the most tech savvy but i would really appreciate any and all feedback regarding the topics i have mentioned , i am currently inspired for the day while my cup has something in it to fuel me , thanks to all who i mentioned and made this a good day for me .

    Brother Earl,

You and Brother ChrisE compare a disabled person to a thief, when there is no viable comparison.

A disabled person DID NOT choose to be disabled.

A thief DID CHOOSE to steal, breaking God's commandments. Crystal clear difference!

Christians have heard Jesus Christ's Gospel. We have a CHOICE - hear and followor IGNORE and not follow.

    2 Peter 2:21

"For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them."

True believers will listen to Jesus/God's WORD, and follow, if not, Jesus tells us how he will respond:

    Matthew 7:21-23

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

So, Jesus will not accept EVERY MAN,(OR WOMAN) only those that doeth the will of God. This comes directly from Jesus, if you don't believe it, then your argument is with Jesus/God!

    God Bless.

You're welcome, but do you realize though that each apostle preached to each person and the message lives on through them. Plus, when you speak in tongues, that is the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is God living inside of us, and He continues to lead us, and guide us, and shape us into what He wants us to be. I just thought I would add that little bit. I hope it won't offend you.

Jesus died on Friday and was resurrected on Sunday. How is it He said that the

son of Man must be (like Jonah in the fish) three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Was Friday just a tradition? or did He actually die on Thursday?

Alex: I would suggest to you that the Book of Acts is a progressive revelation. I submit that "remission" and "redemption" are not the same thing. Peter was still preaching the "gospel of the kingdom" ( Matt. 9:35) to Israel in Acts 2 as the door was still open for them to accept their Messiah. That door remained open till they stoned Stephen in Acts 7. Peter never preached Acts 2:38 again for the rest of his life since Israel, as a nation, had rejected Christ as their Messiah. Notice Peter's statement in Acts 15:11. By this time, Peter is preaching salvation by faith alone because Israel had been put aside for 2k years. Notice, in Acts 10:44, just as Peter is about to tell Cornelius to repent and be baptized, the HG comes down and interrupts his message and changes his sermon outline! Cornelius and family were saved by FAITH -- not water baptism. There are 3 different saving gospels in the New Testament: 1 The "gospel of the kingdom" offering Israel their Messiah, 2. After Israel rejects their Messiah, God raises up Paul and gives him "the gospel of the grace of God" ( Acts 20:24, this is the gospel that saves us today, and 3. "The everlasting gospel" ( Rev. 14:6-7) preached by an angel in the tribulation. Salvation in the tribulation is by FAITH and WORKS just as it was in the Old Testament. While the church is on earth, salvation is a free gift. "now [this age of grace that will end at the rapture] is the day of salvation" 2 Cor. 6:2.

Chris I'm sharing here because the account of supposedly the spirit of samuel being raised from the dead is actually demonic power in action. Saul at this time was not walking with God and chose to go to a witch chapter 28:6+7 to get advice from a prophet who was dead. The context of this starts at 1 Samuel 15 when Saul disobeyed the man of Gods orders and the end result was chapter 15 verse 26. Eventually Saul in chapter 31 verse 4 suicided thats how far out spiritually he got. Until Christ returns for the church and the just and unjust are raised the dead are dead.

In Acts 10 & 11 The Lord was baptising folks with the H.G. THE ULTIMATE BAPTISM. but Peter was commanding water baptism after the baptism of the H.G. Thats when the lord gave peter that vision of all the unclean animals in that sheet saying what i have made CLEAN ( by the blood ) do not call common or unclean. All the inclean animals was the Church , humanity the world That was made CLEAN by the blood of the lamb not water baptism that peter was commanding. But Peter cd not understand the vision at first But when it came to him he says Then remembered i the words of our lord,John baptised you with water but i will will baptise you with the H.G. Peter remembered the words of our lord about baptism. And said who was i to withstand the GOD. 3 Times the lord rebuked Peter with that sheet telling him what i have made clean do not call common or unclean And they were all made Clean by the blood of the Lamb ,Behold the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. When ya tell folks that they need water baptism its in essence saying the blood was insufficient , A slap in the face of the lamb of God,Thats y the Lord was so upset with Peter commanding water baptism ,After ya understand the Enormity of the CROSS ( the blood of the lamb of God you will neva mention water baptism for the Remmision for sins again. period. Even Paul feared to water baptise saying it wd make the blood the CROSS of no effect. 1 st Cor. 1 : 17

It is an interesting website in respect that one person says this is what I believe the bible means or another says with absolution this is what it says and means and yet in 2 Peter 1:20 God says Knowing this first that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation and the word private is idios which is ones own, so for me to say this is what it means or that is what I think doesn't count if it doesn't fit with all of the scripture.
