    Brother Kevin,

    Very well said, Amen!!!

It's where we place our trust. Are we trusting in the one who has saved us and told us He will keep us by His power until the day of redemption? Or, are we trusting in ourselves to keep ourselves saved? I know who I'm trusting!!!
  • Do all to the glory of God - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
Genesis has to be read slower. God created everything necessary for all creatures and man to be able to eat herbs, grass, nectar, meats, etc. Every creature right down to a snail or smaller, had exactly the perfect food.

    Romans 14:2

For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth HERBS.

    Romans 14:15

But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

    Romans 14:17

For the kingdom of God is NOT meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

    1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

    Colossians 2:16

Let NO man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

    1 Timothy 1: 1-4

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the LATTER TIMES, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of DEVILS

    2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3 FORBIDDING to marry, and COMMANDING to ABSTAIN from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4 For every creature of God is good, and NOTHING to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

See, everything God made is good for us. In an agricultural society, people are very active and work off extra calories.

Not so much now in high-Tech society. If we eat too many calories, it stretches the stomach and the ribs and we walk leaning backwards.

My only comment is: I pray the Lord's Prayer over my food faithfully, because of things like covid and flu, ecoli, wisteria etc. I'm not paranoid; I just want to enjoy mealtimes. :D

His Sacha In the book of Genesis who does God blame for the downfall, Adam blamed God and said the woman God gave him God went to the woman and she said the serpent then God said to the serpent because thou hast done this. God knew who did it. Granted Adam and Eve gave in but if it were not for the adversaries I.E. the serpents influence I.E. temp tation deception lie, then the reason for the sin wouldn't be there. Also according to James 1:13 God can't be tempted neither tempt He any man. So we are the product of an action influenced by Gods arch enemy originally.

    Amen Brother Jesse.

And Paul is talking to "The Church "

Galatians 3:28. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 11:16. But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.

    God bless.

Precious friend, I agree, if we, The Body of Christ, are not going to agree on the so-called "First Step" which MOST believe is 'water' baptism, then it seems to me to be a moot point to discuss/solve the other 'divisions' of evangelizing, tongues, end times, etc., correct?

    ONE Baptism:

    Link

Thus, seems to me, Very Little 'unity' now, but COMPLETE unity when Jesus "Gathers us all Into Glory!" Amen?

There are 2 ppl that are involved in our Salvation . 1 is our old adamic nature WHICH IS IN RANK WITH SATAN that is made white at repentence but he answers to the Dog that returns to his vomit . But if we have a relationship with Jesus, We hear his voice, his words that results in a birth of a New INNERMAN which is the H.G. That Child of Promise ,Whosoever receives one such child in MY NAME receives me,Thus that Christ in us cannot sin simply b/c he is born of God But we have to KNOW him, for the newman to be born in US. My little Children in whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you, My sheep hear my voice and they shall neva be plucked outa of my Hand And my Father that gave them to me is greater then ALL and no man is able to pluck them outta of my FATHERS HAND. Remember Jesus said if the branches bring forth no fruit they wheither and die thats what happens to us if we are not truly bornagain bringing forth no fruit unto God i.e. we have to know him thats when the good seed is sown in our hearts....Remember Jesus refered to Peter as satan one time b/f he was bornagain. We are involved in a warfare but there is no condemnation to them in Christ Jesus . Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child which is that Child of PROMISE, The H.G. you will in no wise Enter there in . But we have to know him ( Faith comes by hearing his words his seeds ) Hannah prayed for lil Samuel to be born, We need to pray for the H.G to be born in us . (the GIFT) That which is born of the spirit is spirit thats the H.G. That Wants to be born in Us.

What is explained in the Bible was for Jewish women, and descendants of Abraham; I would think.

Thank you for your reply. According to the verses, a woman's hair is her glory; and if she is not covering her glory before god, then she is shamed and should have her head shaved.

It is quite confusing to me, unless it is taken literally, but I can't believe that this can be so, although Muslin women keep their heads covered all the time, so maybe this is the way we are supposed to conduct ourselves.

Nevertheless, verse 16 indicates that if we are in disagreement with this, we are not bound to follow it, as it is not God's law..............is this correct?

    1 John 4:12

NO man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

    The Holy Spirit is SPIRIT.

Jesus's skin color at birth would look like Mary's DNA contribution.

As with anyone, people who are exposed to sun too much have darker skin, than their normal skin color.

Another verse says that no man may look upon God and live.

No offense, but I feel people spend way too much time contemplating skin colors.

I'm a life long observer of skin/hair colors. Early in life I was an artist for a time. God formed us. Our hair color is the perfect color for skin tone. When people dye their hair, it never complements the skin color. Our skin has pigments in it, like paint; but somewhat luminescent.

For me, I can't see any beauty in tattoos. Art is for canvas & other mediums. It's a pity to think we can improve on what God made.

Skin color used to be beautiful, but now it's political. Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus.

It's simple without a relationship with God you can't attack certain powers of demonic presence and you can't have a relationship with that fasting and prayer God needs to know your commitment is real are we gonna give a person a loaded gun without trusting their ability to handle it. He wants to know us to the core and our commitment to him. I do a podcast to help mental health issues called let's get busy, and it's about relationship with God and my prayer closet experiences

Precious friend, Michael, Great Question! "Is once saved always saved Biblically correct"?

    1) Since God Said 'Eternal' Life, then God's Eternal Salvation is Biblically Correct; IF man is able to Change it to 'temporary/conditional' life, then it is incorrect

    2) Since Christ's Blood Is ALL-Sufficient, then God's Eternal Salvation is Biblically Correct; IF man 'needs to ADD' Any conditions to "The Already COMPLETE 'Payment'," then it is incorrect

    3) Since God Is 100% Correct, then men's "Changes And Additions" are ZERO percent correct Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32; Revelation 22:18,19

    4) "good works" are Not for life, But are for reward, once we, The Body Of Christ, have "entered into God's Guaranteed 'Eternal' Life" at our Glorification, and "stand At The Judgment Seat Of Christ!" 1 Corinthians 3:6-15 cp "carnal saint" in 1 Corinthians 5:1-5

    Connie on Ephesians 3

3:18 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

What does the Bible teach about the Holy Trinity.

The Bible teaches that the Father is God, that Jesus is God, and that the Holy Spirit is God.

The Trinity is a concept that is impossible for any human being to fully understand, let alone explain. God is infinitely greater than we are; therefore, we should not expect to be able to fully understand Him.

Hello, when reading God's word, one must distinguish between moral law, ceremonial law, civil law. It's my opinion that head covering, circumcision, clothing, etc were Jewish customs and ceremonial laws not applying today. Moral law, like the ten commandments, love thy neighbor, do not kill, apply today.

    Hi Michael,

Just one verse in the Bible is all it takes to refute the OSAS theory:

Matthew 12:32 "...but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

But there's so many more verses too. Paul is the one who said we can have assurance of salvation, but what people often do is the remove the contingent part- this requires us to "follow Jesus!" A Christian is an active Jesus follower. It's a pursuit that involves effort and transforming oneself. Not being slave to sin, but to righteousness. People want their cake and to eat it too, by not following Jesus, enjoying unlimited sin, but also demanding salvation like a spoiled, self-entitled brat. Some Christians even deny this reality. But Jesus already addressed that:

    Matthew 7:21-23

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Believe it or not, there are even people who don't want to do good. They claim that it's 'bad' to do good works. One should ask, did Jesus say that? If not, does that idea come from God or satan?

John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

I think people would slander Jesus today for doing good works, just like they did back then.

Here are more verses (too many to even paste here):

Hebrews 10:26 "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

    Hebrews 6:4-6

James 2:14-26 "...faith, if it hath not works, is dead..."

James 2:19 "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble."

1 Peter 1:13 "...hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;"

    Romans 11

    Matthew 12:31-32

    Romans 14:12

1 Peter 1:5 - "...salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

1 Cor 9:24-27 "run the race", not 'party' or sit on sofa.

Pray to God to know the truth.

    Brother Chris,

I thank you for your kind and honest words. I will admit I want to do so much but I have to stop sometimes to pray and understand his word. I know the Lord isn't going to lead me empty handed and the last thing he's going to do is not equip me with the sword of the spirit. I don't have much brothers and sisters in Christ so I lack in a lot of areas regarding encouragement from others, prayer groups, Bible studies etc. I have two jobs and although it's Very stressful I can't lie. But I know God has me here for a purpose I just need to study a lot harder. I went back to Matthew so I can learn more about the birth, death and resurrection. I want to be strong in the word. I want to be grounded but I know it all comes within time based on his will and me trusting him and his plan for my life. I had an idea a year ago in making business cards English on one side and Spanish on the other side and just passing them out. Right now finances have been at all time low and honestly I have no idea how I am doing but it's not me it's Christ in me. Everytime I'm on here it's a feeling of excitement and encouragement because even though I don't know y'all it's like I've suffered with you and you with me in all walks of a Christian life. Whether the end drawing nigh gets closer there is one thing you mentioned out of it all is PRAY ! There's days where I feel very overwhelmed and days where I say God why me why do I have a heart like this why oh why. He's lead me this far and has shown me he won't fail nor will he forsake.

    Thank you

    Looking for input

In Acts 20+21 is the record of Paul going to Jerusalem, 21:22+23 He's bound by the spirit to go there and verse 24 doesn't care if he dies there. He teaches the word then in Chapter 21 he goes to Rhodes to Patara then to Phenicia eventually landing at Tyre. Verse 4 And finding certain disciples we tarries there seven days who said to Paul through the Spirit that he should not go to Jerusalem. Verse ten in caesarea there was a prophet named Agabus who took pauls girdle and bound his own hands and feet [pretty point blank]said thus saith the Holy Ghost the jews shall bind this man and hand him over to the gentiles. and when we heard these things both we and they of that place bes ouht him not to go to Jerusalem then verse 14 and when he would not be persuaded we ceased saying do the will of the lord. My understanding of this in context is that God did not want him to go and he almost lost his life, but its an example of a man that made up his mind this is what I'm doing and God covers it like we do sometimes. I believe he wanted to do this because he knew the law inside out and wanted to deliver people no matter what. It says bound by the spirit any where else I don't read that. Other insights gladly welcome

Thank you. I Corinthians 11-16 I understand to be saying that if a woman chooses not to cover their heads, it is not mandatory. However verses 5 & 6 seem to indicate something different. And it doesn't seem like Paul is saying that a woman's hair is considered a covering for her glory.

Dear Earl , yes ! Man cannot bear to admit that his sinfullness is his own , we need to blame some one else for our faults and failings , WE die because WE sin . The Holy One of Israel is LORD of ALL creation . Job says : the Lord gave and the Lord has taken away , blessed be the name of the Lord . No where , apart from Genesis , does any one in the Bible Old or New blame some kind of supernatural monster for their own sinfullness . We have to accept responsibility for our own sinfullness . Why is that so hard for us . It's not hard for me , I know exactly who and what I am , and it's not good ! As Paul's says and I will paraphrase : if I manage to control my actions I will sin with my mouth , if I manage to keep my mouth from sinning then I think something sinful , that's me ! No one else but me . Adam even tried to implicate God in his own sinfullness ! The woman whom thou gavest me ! Blame blame blame . It wasn't my fault , you gave me this woman and she made me do it ! Blame blame blame .

Why do the writers and photographers have pictures of Jesus or others in the Bible pictured as Caucasians? As I read the Bible I read that there are Jews, Queen of Sheba was Egyptian,on and on.. No one has ever seen God and Jesus was Jewish. I really need help on this. Do you know?. Is this more important then studying the word of God..No However racism is not in the Bible.

    Wow and Wow!!!

What a wonderful scriptural walk thru the bible with highlights on our Heavenly gift of Salvation. Great reading here, and many verses to pray and meditate on.

Personally, I look at this as a generous and wonderful gift, I'm so humbled, and appreciate all the time you spent on preparing this heavenly summation of scripture. I will print this out, so I can refer to it many times in the future.

I remain grateful, and God Bless you!

Micheal Gods Word does not say once saved always saved but since the term is born again how can you take a spiritual rebirth back. That being said if an individual chooses not to walk by the renewed mind i.e. Gods word I question either the truth of being born again or as it says in the word of God It would be like a dog wallowing in its own vomit. If a person chooses not to continue in the faith then the only thing left is to back to the senses man then the spirit has no effect because there's no believing to walk. There spiritual walk will be a shipwreck of no use.

Hello KJV Forum I just wanted to mention John 12 : 21 , KJV When the Greeks came to Jerusalem to worship they inquired of Philip where they might find Jesus. They said we wd SEE Jesus ,the whole world wants to see Jesus and this is what Jesus said unless a seed dies it will remain alone, But if it dies it will bring forth much fruit had he not died there wd have been only 1 Christ but b/c of his death he will will be multiplied as the Stars of Heaven impling lil ones , Baby Christ that are gonna be born ( our new birth ) in all of US sinners . THUS WE WILL ALL SEE JESUS Thats y Zech. is saying smite the shepard and the sheep will be scatttered then i will turn my hand to the little ones Baby Christ ,That was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the Stars of heaven when God Almighty swore by himself, Thus a Baby Christ is gona be born in US. They shall look on ME whom they have Pierced ,And be in bitterness for him as as one who is in bitterness for their 1 st born .And mourn for him as their only SON, And this is y he always refered to himself as the SON OF MAN ZECH. 12 : 10 KJV. as the H.G is our fruit unto God , Our 1st born our only HEAVENLY SON . Whosoever receives one such Child in my name receives ME. Smite the shepard and the sheep will be scattered then i will turn my hand of the lil ONES. Which is the H.G the Child of Promise ( multiplication of his seed ) Thats y the woman is giving birth . Rev 12 : 5. ty Jesus i love ya
